JOB SUMMARY
Holy Angels Academy is in search of a Registered Behavioral Line Tech. Under the supervision of the BCBA, the main duty of the Line Tech is to provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The Line Tech will collect data on programs, assist with parent training and assist the Behavior Analyst as needed. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position, hours not dependent on census, with one on one therapy sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to obtain a Line Tech registration from the BACB Board
- Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license if driving for Holy Angels
EDUCATION
- GED or High School Diploma – Required
- Bachelors or higher in Psychology, Child Development, or related field preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a classroom setting
- Implement 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis programs in home, clinic, school, or community settings
- Collect data, observe and record client behavior and acquisition data
- Assist with parent training and collaborate with the Behavior Analyst
- Participate in training and apply ABA principles and techniques
- Maintain documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with the Behavior Analyst
- Assist with assessments and data collection
- Attend supervisory meetings and training sessions
- Perform all other duties as requested by the BCBA
