As many of our original residents are aging in place, it is Holy Angels’ goal to make sure that they have the most comfortable and up-to-date facilities possible for a long and fulfilling life, and your support has helped make this goal a reality! Madonna Hall dormitory was recently renovated, receiving its first update since 1985!

Madonna Hall is home to Holy Angels’ most elderly residents, most of whom will show signs of dementia while in our care. The renovations provide an accessible and therapeutic environment for individuals with disabilities aging in place.Renovations include:
— new flooring and lighting throughout the building
— textured walls
— double-paned windows
— new plumbing fixtures
— bathtubs replaced with accessible showers
— new ceiling tiles and insulation
— automatic doors
— covered driveway
— additional parking lot

We can tell you all about the renovations, but who better to ask about the actual impact of the Madonna Hall renovations on the residents’ lives than the residents themselves? Jimmy W. said, “It’s my place. It’s much better for me here because all of my friends are around!” When we asked Patrick H. what his new favorite thing about the new and improved Madonna Hall was, he simply exclaimed, “Everything!!” later adding that his bed and bathroom are his most favorite new things. Patrick H. missed being “home” while he lived in a group home during the renovations and gives the new Madonna Hall “TWO THUMBS UP!”
