The Holy Angels’ Champions for Individuals with Disabilities organized the Bowling for Angels fundraiser in February at Holiday Lanes. The event helped raise money and awareness for Holy Angels’ residents.
The bowlers competed within their company teams, but also went head to head with the other organizations for the overall prize. Companies matched their participants’ donations, and O’Brien Energy Company was crowned the winner for most donations.
Three years ago O’Brien Energy Company held the first Bowling for Angels event. The idea originated from the concept of combining a team building activity with fundraising for a local nonprofit organization. The event was by all accounts was a major success and the funds raised made for an impactful donation. O’Brien Energy Company did not want to keep all the fun to themselves, so they decided to make it a competition by getting other local businesses involved.
Thank you to the following companies for participating! Check back for the date for next year’s Bowling for Angels tournaments.
