Holy Angels Residential Facility offers educational, recreational, and spiritual training in addition to around the clock medical care provided by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. The Medical Directors oversee this specialized nursing care in addition to other ancillary services. Residents gain job satisfaction through 3 state designated Work Activity Centers (WAC’s). Outpatient therapy centers, a school, a computer lab, two gyms, an indoor and outdoor pool, a chapel, arts & crafts center, sewing workshops, and a gift shop support these services.

Holy Angels is unlike other facilities in Northwest Louisiana in that it offers its residents a full life experience in a safe, structured environment. HARF residents are provided community involvement along with the freedom to live in a minimally restricted environment. Our 62 acre campus allows residents the ability to enjoy work opportunities, recreation, and training. Residents are also provided a host of value added services that include aquatic therapy, exercise and recreational services. Recreational services include but are not limited to a snow cone shop, holiday dances, hay rides, extensive arts and crafts. Many Residents attend community events such as the Louisiana State Fair, the Red River Revel, the Tyler Zoo and special events at the Centurytel Center.

Holy Angels collaborates with community partners to provide ancillary medical services that include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, aquatic therapy, dental care, and wheel chair clinics provided by our community partners -- Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, LSU Health Sciences Center, and CHRISTUS Schumpert Sutton Children’s Hospital. Community businesses contract with Holy Angels for shredding services, label sorting, and cookie purchases in the Work Activity Centers.
